The game's open-world design allows players to explore the city at their own pace. They can choose to follow leads linearly using the deck of cards, which gradually introduces cases with increasing difficulty. Alternatively, they can explore the city freely, solving cases in any order they prefer.

Puzzles

Spread across the map are various scenes depicting scenarios from crowded streets to cozy cafes and crime scenes. Players must scrutinize these scenes to uncover what happened. While some puzzles presented challenges, they were generally solvable with deductive reasoning and by connecting the dots. We didn't encounter any particularly frustrating moments.

Verdict

"Micromacro: Crime City" offers a visually stunning map filled with charming and detailed designs. While the simplicity of the puzzles may not be to everyone's taste, it's very suitable for children and beginners in puzzle-solving games. Despite the straightforward nature of the cases, we enjoyed the overall experience.
