Premise

You've recently moved to Hincksville and, after settling into your new home, decide to explore town. You meet inventor Stephen P. Hincks, Head Volunteer for the Hincksville Welcoming Committee, at Hincks Tower to procure your elevator pass for this colossal skyscraper that holds many of Hincksville's businesses and attractions.

The elevator has more in store for you than expected though, and will test your wits along the way. Are you ready to outsmart The Curious Elevator of Mr. Hincks?

Solve enigmas by pairing mysterious physical materials contained in this cryptic parcel with clues from the online elevator. Use the browser-based elevator to verify solutions and navigate through the floors.

Upon opening the box, you’ll find all components immediately available to you. The materials are vibrant, well-designed, and of decent quality. However, most are paper-based, so don’t expect physical objects or trinkets like those in the Hunt a Killer series.

Gameplay


An internet connection is required to access the game’s website, where you’ll interact with the online elevator. Each floor presents a unique puzzle that must be solved before progressing.

A key challenge is determining which components are relevant to the puzzle at hand. Since you have access to everything from the start, this becomes a puzzle in itself—an engaging and rewarding twist that adds depth to the experience.
